I am a second generation Complementary Practitioner with over 20yrs professional experience helping individuals with acute and chronic conditions across all age groups using Holistic Naturopathic Principles. I have been very privileged to have gained knowledge from many highly qualified and respected experts of Complementary Medicine.
I studied Anatomy & Physiology, Reflex Zone Therapy and Reflexology with Beryl Crane. President of the ICR. I was trained in Clinical Ecology which included BER Medicine, Vega ( Allergy testing ) and Complex Homoeopathy by Prof G. Lewith & Dr J. Kenyon and attended advanced workshops with Dr H. Schimmel.
It was during an intensive ” Acupuncture for Pain ” study trip to China that I witnessed the integrated use of Reflexology alongside the various techniques of Traditional Chinese Medicine.This experience of working in a hospital in Beijing led me to develop my own style of Clinical Reflexology.
As a qualified lecturer I have designed and delivered courses and workshops for Colleges, Charities and for Adult Education. As a speaker / member of the WI I travel Dorset giving talks and demonstrations on a range of topics concerning Health and Well-being. When called upon I am a volunteer practitioner for Weldmar Hospicecare Trust.
I enjoy researching and compiling my ” Holistic Health ” articles, and judging from the positive feedback, people find them interesting and informative.
I believe that learning is a life long process, I continue to study increasing and updating my range of knowledge and skills. In September I will be attending the International Council of Reflexologists conference in Portugal.
